our story

my name is veena & this is my daughter chaitra. we are a mum-daughter duo who find a lot of joy in painting & creating pieces of art.

we are hobbyist artists who thought we could turn this hobby of ours into a home-based art store & learn something new in the process.

we started kalakriti in 2021 and we sell a variety of mandala themed planters and wall hangings. each piece is hand-painted by us from scratch!
